Laser Vision Correction

What Our Patients Are Saying...

"My doctor has preformed two surgeries for me, as well as being my regular eye doctor. I started seeing him as a young child, and have continued on with him. He is very cabable and I trust him very much"

Laser Vision Correction

Life free from glasses or contacts. Can you imagine it?

Laser vision correction gives you the freedom and flexibility to live without dependence on glasses or contacts.

It’s within your reach. But laser vision correction is a big step. One you need the expertise of physicians who have performed countless procedures to safely and comfortably guide you through.

At OcuSight, our surgeons are able to determine whether you are a candidate for having laser vision correction, and discuss with you how to best achieve your goal of seeing without glasses.

Why choose laser vision correction

While laser vision correction does not always create 20/20 vision, in FDA reviews, over 90% of patients did not require any corrective devices to pass an eye exam for a driver's license, and a majority of patients achieved 20/20 or better vision. In addition, laser vision correction also stands to significantly improve night vision.

Laser vision correction customized to your needs

Laser vision correction isn’t out of reach for those with significant irregularities or aberrations. Customized correction can be wavefront-guided, using optical information from a wavefront sensor to guide the application of treatment to achieve a more “optically perfect” eye. This technique can be employed with either a LASIK or ASA procedure, detailed below.

Laser vision correction options

We perform procedures that provide the exact precision to give you the best results in vision correction. Virtually every one of our customized LASIK patients have achieved 20/20 vision or better the very next day with the treatment protocol OcuSight has developed.

There are two main forms of laser vision correction:

LASIK vs. ASA -- which one is right for you?

While the final result has been proven to be identical upon healing, LASIK boasts a faster patient recovery and less discomfort, while ASA requires a longer healing process. If recommended, ASA can allow you to achieve excellent vision without glasses when you are not a candidate for LASIK. The cost to you is the same for either procedure.

The type of procedure you undergo is best left determined by OcuSight’s skilled physicians in a consultation. Factors inherent to your eyes determine the best technique for you to achieve your goal.

Are you a candidate for LASIK or ASA?

You're a candidate for either form of laser vision correction if:

  • You are over the age of 18
  • You have healthy corneas and stable vision
  • You have myopia (nearsightedness); hyperopia (farsightedness), or astigmatism

You may not be a candidate for laser vision correction if:

  • You have certain medical conditions
  • You are an expectant mother

Call any one of our locations to set up a consultation to see whether or not laser vision correction is the best option for you.
